Seongbuk-gu Recruiting 6-Month Internships for Unemployed Youth... Until the 17th

Five-Day Workweek, Monthly Salary of 2.46 Million KRW

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is launching a youth internship program targeting unemployed young people aged 19 to 39 in the area.


In this program, a total of three individuals will be selected, one each in three fields: Seongbuk-gu Office Public Relations and Computer Department (supporting the production of Seongbuk Sori), Kkumbit Theater (supporting theater stage operations), and Arirang Cine Center (supporting film planning exhibitions and film festival operations).

The selected youths will work five days a week (eight hours a day) for six months from June 2 to November 28 this year, receiving a monthly pre-tax salary of approximately 2.46 million KRW. Additionally, a 1:1 customized employment support program, annual leave, weekly holidays, and paid public holidays will be provided, creating a youth-friendly working environment.


Seongbuk-gu plans to actively support young people through this youth internship program to strengthen their practical skills and facilitate smooth entry into private sector jobs in the long term. In particular, it aims to reduce the burden of the job preparation process and build confidence by providing real work experience. The policy is to increase employment rates in private companies through continuous mentoring and systematic follow-up management.


Applicants wishing to apply should send their applications via email to the person in charge (dae1106@sb.go.kr) by 6 p.m. on the 17th. Detailed information and submission documents can be found on the Seongbuk-gu Office website.


Mayor Lee Seung-ro stated, "We will actively support unemployed young people to gain practical experience and successfully enter private sector jobs," adding, "I hope many young people take an interest and participate."
