A man in his 30s, Lee, who was enraged by the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-yeol and smashed a police bus with a baton, has been handed over to the prosecution.
At around 7:20 a.m. on the 11th, Lee, who came out of the Seongbuk Police Station in Seoul, did not answer reporters' questions such as "Why did you break the bus window?", "Were you angry about the verdict?", and "Did you intend to break into the Constitutional Court?" and got into the escort vehicle.
Lee is accused of damaging public property by smashing the glass window of a police bus parked in front of Exit 5 of Anguk Station on Seoul Subway Line 3 at 11:28 a.m. on the 4th.
On the 6th, Yeom Hye-su, the duty judge of the Seoul Central District Court, conducted a pre-arrest detention hearing for Lee and issued an arrest warrant requested by the police, stating there was a "risk of flight."
