Through its participation in this alliance, Doosan Robotics aims to contribute to the creation of a domestic robot ecosystem and secure core competitiveness. The company will support the development of a shared artificial intelligence (AI) model and develop core hardware technologies featuring lightweight design, high degrees of freedom, high payload capacity, and fast mobility. It will also be responsible for developing key components such as force and torque sensors capable of precise object manipulation and tactile sensors that implement hand sensation.
Furthermore, Doosan Robotics plans to participate regularly in technical seminars, presentations, and competitions targeting companies that require robots. It will also support the nurturing of key talents and startups.
Doosan Robotics recently analyzed that following generative AI, 'Physical AI,' which is embedded in real hardware, is gaining attention, and global big tech companies are investing in integrating AI into the robotics field. The company expects government support in this area to expand with the launch of the alliance.
