Basic ITQ-Hangeul, PowerPoint, and More Offered
Mujugun, North Jeolla Province, announced on the 9th that it will conduct a training program to cultivate 'administrative practical experts' until the 22nd of next month.
This training, organized by the Jeonbuk Regional Women’s New Employment Center, is being held for six weeks in the computer training room on the third floor of the Muju Women’s Center to help women develop their vocational skills.
The program includes 15 participants, such as women returning to work after a career break due to marriage and childcare, and those preparing for a job change. They receive practical training focused on ▲Basic and practical use of ITQ-Hangeul ▲PowerPoint ▲Basic and practical use of Excel.
In addition to customized training courses required by companies, job-related education such as fostering a professional mindset, labor rights, and financial planning is also provided.
The trainees said, "After taking a break for several years to raise children, I lost confidence and felt psychologically withdrawn, but I have now encountered the training I really needed," adding, "Since this is a course essential for practical work, I am determined to work hard and expect to become a new version of myself."
The county plans to nurture professional personnel with practical computer skills through this training, and expectations are high as it will establish a foundation for providing customized manpower centered on demand.
Kim Mikyung, head of the Women and Youth Team at the Population Vitality Division of the county, said, "We will ensure the training is substantial so that women with career breaks have opportunities to gain reemployment and professional skills, and recruiting companies can secure talent with practical abilities."
Meanwhile, in addition to the administrative practical expert training, the county is also conducting customized vocational training such as 'women’s organization capacity building,' 'caregiver training,' smart photography classes, and daily woodworking at the Muju-gun Women’s Job Support Center to promote women’s participation in the local community.
