The attendees sought advice from former President Lee, who has extensive experience with the US, for the successful hosting of the World Korean Business Convention and discussed ways to strengthen Korea-US friendship through the "June 25 Korean War Veterans Memorial Project."

President Kim stated, "The tariff war under the Trump administration has caused great concern among 22,000 small and medium-sized enterprises exporting to the US," adding, "At the World Korean Business Convention to be held on the 17th in Atlanta, USA, we will support SMEs' entry into the US market and make this an opportunity to promote Korea-US friendship and economic cooperation with federal government officials, including Kelly Loeffler, Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Brian Kemp, Governor of Georgia, and economic officials from more than 10 state governments attending the opening ceremony."

He continued, "In Washington, D.C., there are memorial spaces such as the 'Korean War Veterans Memorial Park' and the 'Wall of Remembrance' to commemorate the Korean War and honor fallen soldiers, but such memorial spaces are lacking domestically," and requested, "We ask former President Lee to take an interest in and support the memorial project to establish a monument commemorating the Korea-US alliance and honoring fallen soldiers on the site of the Yongsan US military base."
