Through this, a foundation has been established to operate various forest experience programs currently run by the Forest Center in the Chukryeongsan Mountain area as well.

Jangseong Chukryeongsan Mountain is the largest Japanese cypress plantation in Korea, and several tourist facilities such as the Sky Forest Trail Observatory, Cloud Bridge, Geumgok Film Village, and tourist farms have been developed.

The county is expanding infrastructure such as parking lots and roads to improve tourism accessibility, and is also promoting the creation of the Chukryeongsan Mountain Natural Recreation Forest and the Korea Premium Forest Memorial Hall with national funding. Starting this year, a project to create a Torreya tree forest nearby has also begun.

Governor Kim Hanjong said, "With this agreement with the Jangseong Forest Center, the scope of Chukryeongsan Mountain experience programs has expanded," adding, "We hope this will lead to attracting more tourists and revitalizing the local economy."
