The police especially announced a focused crackdown on the 'five major election crimes' that can seriously undermine the fairness of the election: ▲bribery ▲spreading false information ▲public officials’ involvement in elections ▲election violence ▲illegal mobilization of organizations.

In addition, Wando Police Station plans to take the lead in ensuring a fair election through an organic cooperation system with related organizations such as the Election Commission and the prosecution.

Lee Seongil, Chief of Wando Police Station, emphasized, "We will maintain strict neutrality throughout the entire investigation process and concentrate all the capabilities of Wando Police to ensure the election is conducted fairly and peacefully."
