In Yeongdeok County, North Gyeongsang Province, which recently suffered significant damage from a fire that started in Uiseong County, North Gyeongsang Province, support from various sectors continues to pour in.
As of the 8th, Hanmaeum Seonwon Pohang Branch of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism donated clothing and daily necessities worth about 70 million KRW to Yeongdeok County. Hongil Food and Pohang Wonbeopsa Temple each donated 20 million KRW, the Yeongdeok Fisheries Processing Association donated 11 million KRW, and the 4-H Federation of six cities and counties, the Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency, and the Korea Fishing Village and Port Corporation each contributed 10 million KRW.

In addition, various organizations and individuals from inside and outside the region are joining the donation movement, including the Jaeryeong Lee Clan (4 million KRW), Semyung High School Alumni Association (3 million KRW), Yeongdeok County Baseball and Softball Association and Suwon Baekma-il Baseball Club (1.4 million KRW), and the Jeong Haesaeng Friendship Association of four northern townships (1 million KRW).
As of the 8th, a total of 1,4857 donations amounting to approximately 3.75 billion KRW have been received for wildfire recovery in Yeongdeok County, consisting of 598 general donations totaling about 2.21 billion KRW and 14,324 Hometown Love donations totaling about 1.54 billion KRW.
Donations can be made as general contributions through the Yeongdeok Welfare Foundation, or as Hometown Love donations via Hometown Love e-eum or WeGive.
