The 'Gijang Anbusalpim Postal Service' utilizes the delivery network of Gijang Post Office to personally deliver daily necessities and welfare information materials to households at potential risk of isolation, while also checking on the well-being of the recipients.

This project aims to proactively prevent isolation and solitary deaths through cooperation and information sharing among local public institutions. It was initiated after being selected for the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2025 Eup-Myeon-Dong Smart Welfare Safety Service Improvement Model Support Project'.

Prior to the full-scale implementation, a business agreement ceremony was held on the 8th with County Governor Jeong Jongbok and Postmaster Park Youngsun, along with officials from both organizations. They agreed to closely cooperate to establish a stable service and identify welfare blind spots in the region.

With this agreement, the county will officially launch the Anbusalpim postal service for 200 isolated households per month from May to December. Postal workers from Gijang Post Office will deliver mail to households in welfare crisis, collect crisis information, and report it to the county, which will then provide welfare counseling and customized welfare services based on the information received.

Park Youngsun, Postmaster of Gijang Post Office, said, "The Anbusalpim postal service is an important collaborative project to protect vulnerable groups in the community," and added, "We will actively support the successful operation of the project."

County Governor Jeong Jongbok stated, "By collaborating with the post office, a public institution closely connected to residents' lives, we will identify and support socially vulnerable groups and households at risk of solitary death at an early stage, making Gijang County a safer and warmer community."
