Joint Task Force:
"We Will Ensure Citizens
Regain Trust in Facility Safety"
Regarding the Changwon NC Park incident, a joint task force consisting of Changwon City, Changwon Facilities Corporation, and NC Dinos held a general meeting on the 8th in the Changwon NC Park conference room to discuss the early normalization of the baseball stadium.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau of Changwon City, the CEO of NC Dinos, the acting Chairman of Changwon Facilities Corporation, and other related officials.
The joint task force, established on April 3, has held frequent discussions among working-level staff on urgent safety inspections and other pending matters. At this general meeting, they reviewed the progress made so far and discussed future plans.
The main topics included: ▲Review of the current status of ongoing urgent safety inspections ▲Establishment of measures to prevent recurrence and development of response systems ▲Support measures for bereaved families and the injured ▲Restoring trust among citizens and fans before the reopening of Changwon NC Park ▲Development of detailed action plans for establishing a continuous cooperation system, among others.
The joint task force stated, "The most urgent matter is to restore trust in the safety of the facilities and to regain the confidence of citizens and fans through the swift normalization of Changwon NC Park," and added, "Based on the organic cooperation system of the three organizations, we will focus all our capabilities on this effort."
Meanwhile, the joint task force plans to hold regular meetings once a week and discuss detailed implementation plans through frequent meetings among working-level staff in each field.
