Daecheonghyeop Donates 10 Million Won to Support Recovery from Wildfire Damage The Korea Petition Police Association donated 10 million won to residents affected by the wildfire through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea. Provided by Jeonnam Social Welfare Community Chest

Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Noh Dongil, hereinafter referred to as Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae) announced on the 8th that the Korea Petition Police Association recently donated 10 million KRW through Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae to deliver hope to residents affected by wildfires.


The Korea Petition Police Association is an organization composed of petition police officers belonging to the national and local governments, who perform police duties within their affiliated institutions in accordance with the "Police Duties Execution Act" and are responsible for protecting key facilities of the state and local governments.


This 10 million KRW donation by the Korea Petition Police Association is part of its efforts to fulfill social responsibility, going beyond simple support to express its determination to overcome difficulties together with the public, and was carried out to deliver hope to wildfire victims.


Furthermore, this donation is not the end; each regional headquarters across the country also plans to continue disaster recovery and community support activities to faithfully fulfill their social roles.


Lee Jaegwan, President of the Korea Petition Police Association, said, "We hope to provide even a small amount of help to the victims struggling due to wildfire damage," and added, "We will continue to actively support disaster recovery as an organization that fulfills its social responsibility."


Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "This donation from the Korea Petition Police Association will be a great support to the residents affected by the wildfires," and added, "We will make sure that the donated funds are used as a top priority to help stabilize the lives of those in the affected areas."


Meanwhile, the Korea Petition Police Association plans to continue a variety of social support activities every year, such as fundraising for neighbors, delivering coal briquettes, and participating in environmental activities with the local community through its regional headquarters nationwide.
