According to the county, through an agreement signed at the county office on the 8th, KCC Jeonju Plant will donate 40 million KRW to Wanju County to improve the housing conditions of low-income and housing-vulnerable families.
Through this agreement, the county will select the beneficiaries, KCC Jeonju Plant will donate the funds and recommend construction agencies, and the Wanju County Community Social Security Council will carry out specific projects needed for overall residential environment improvement, such as replacing windows and boilers, wallpapering, and changing flooring in the selected households.
In particular, this project, under the name "Making Warm Homes with Forests," received great support last year by improving the living conditions of six low-income families.
Governor Yoo Heetae said, "I sincerely thank the organizations that have participated in this meaningful project for the community again this year," and added, "The county will also continue to promote various welfare projects to support vulnerable groups."
