According to the city on the 8th, ahead of summer, two new family water play areas will be created at Cheongho 2nd Children's Park and Busan-dong Park. These water play areas are being designed as facilities where not only children but also their guardians can relax together. As a result, the total number of water play areas in Osan will increase to eight.

Recently, the barefoot clay trails at Goindol Park, Wondong Neighborhood Park, and Jukmi Neighborhood Park have also reopened. The city plans to add seven more barefoot clay trails in Busan-dong, Yangsan-dong, and other locations within the year, operating a total of ten barefoot clay trails.

For citizens' health, the city is also implementing the '3UP Health Walking Project' using the smart walking app 'WalkOn.' This project, which started in March, aims to promote walking as a daily habit to enhance 'walking, health, and happiness.' Participants who achieve a certain number of steps receive local currency points as rewards. So far, about 3,000 citizens have joined this program.

The city plans to maximize the health promotion effects by linking welfare and health policies while continuously expanding lifestyle-oriented healing infrastructure in the future.

Lee Gwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, said, "We will continue to expand 'lifestyle healing welfare spaces' by leveraging the city's characteristics," adding, "We will do our best to create welfare infrastructure that all citizens can feel and benefit from."
