Applications Accepted Starting on the 10th Until Budget is Exhausted
Cheonan City, Chungnam Province, announced that it will supply 50 hydrogen electric vehicles starting from the 10th until the budget is exhausted.
This initiative aims to improve air quality and establish the city as a leader in carbon neutrality, providing a subsidy of up to 32.5 million KRW per vehicle.
Eligible applicants are citizens aged 18 or older, or companies, corporations, and organizations with an address registered in the city at least 30 days prior to the application date. Individuals or sole proprietors may apply for one vehicle, while companies, corporations, and organizations may apply for up to two vehicles.
Applicants should complete the necessary documents at a car dealership, and the dealership will submit the application through the Zero Emission Vehicle Purchase Subsidy Support System. Recipients will be selected in the order of vehicle release and registration.

Meanwhile, the city operates the hydrogen charging station in front of City Hall (158 Beonyeong-ro, Seobuk-gu, Cheonan-si) year-round from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. without holidays.
Private charging stations are located at Manghyang Service Area (downbound) and Ipjung Geobong Grape Service Area (upbound) on the Gyeongbu Expressway.
