A Hands-On Science Experience Center
Boosting Scientific Thinking Skills
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Creative Convergence Education Center (Director Han Jonghwan) will host the ‘Sci-POP Special Exhibition’ from the 12th to the 30th at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 and the central exhibition hall of the Creative Convergence Education Center for students, parents, teachers, and the general public.
This exhibition is designed to provide a hands-on science experience where students can actively explore, with the aim of enhancing scientific thinking skills.
The exhibition consists of 23 exhibits, including the ‘Bernoulli Levitation Device’, allowing participants to directly manipulate and experience basic scientific principles. It offers opportunities to confirm scientific principles found in textbooks in real life, sparking interest and boosting participants’ motivation to learn. In addition, on the 12th and 13th, a science and marine exhibition booth will be operated at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 as part of the ‘24th Busan Science Festival’.
Applications for the weekend guided tour program offered by the Creative Convergence Education Center can be made on a first-come, first-served basis through the Busan Creative Convergence Education Center website starting at 10 a.m. on April 10.
Han Jonghwan, Director of the Creative Convergence Education Center, said, “We hope this exhibition will be an opportunity for both students and citizens to enjoy science and for interest in science to naturally spread.”
