Namwon City Youth Choir to Hold 'Regular Concert' on the 10th

Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Liberation
All Seats Free of Charge

The Namwon City Youth Choir of Jeonbuk (Artistic Director Kim Jonghee) announced on the 18th that it will hold its 34th regular concert, "Looking Back at Spring," at 7:30 p.m. on the 10th at the Chunhyang Culture and Arts Center.


This performance will feature choral pieces capturing the warm sentiments of spring, as well as a moving selection of songs themed around the independence movement and liberation.

Under the baton of the newly appointed artistic director, who took office on the 10th of last month, the choir members will honor the spirit of those who dedicated themselves to the nation's independence with delicate harmonies and profound expressiveness, delivering hope and inspiration to the citizens.


The artistic director stated, "Since this stage has been carefully prepared together with the choir members, I hope many people will come, share the emotions, and be moved together."


The head of the Culture and Arts Department said, "As the youth choir has delivered moving performances of a high standard every year, expectations are high for this year's regular concert as well. In particular, with the 80th anniversary of liberation, it is even more meaningful to hold a performance that reflects on the significance of the independence movement."
