Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation (President Kim Namil) announced on the 8th that it has delivered a donation of 20 million KRW to Gyeongbuk Province to help residents affected by the recent massive wildfire.


This donation holds further significance as it demonstrates a sincere sense of solidarity and comfort, fulfilling communal responsibility for disaster recovery and reflecting the organization-wide support and warm participation of its employees.

Gyeongbuk Culture and Tourism Corporation plans to actively utilize traditional markets and other local businesses in Andong, Uiseong, Cheongsong, Yeongdeok, and Yeongyang, which have been severely affected by the wildfire, to support the swift return to business and recovery of local commercial districts. In addition, the corporation will operate various tourism programs to provide practical support for local businesses through revitalizing regional tourism.


President Kim Namil said, "I deeply sympathize with the sorrow of Gyeongbuk residents who have lost their homes due to this sudden disaster," adding, "Our corporation will fulfill its social responsibility and strive to be an institution that overcomes local challenges together."
