Gochang County to Hold 'Blood Donation Campaign' at County Office Parking Lot on the 10th

Gochang County in North Jeolla Province will hold the 'Life Sharing Blood Donation' campaign on the 10th.

According to the county on the 8th, this blood donation campaign will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the county office parking lot for local residents.

Blood donors should avoid excessive drinking and overexertion the day before, and ensure they have had at least four hours of sleep and a meal before donating. Those taking medication for high blood pressure, diabetes, or hyperlipidemia are also eligible to donate. Prior to donation, a thorough medical questionnaire will be conducted to check the donor's health status and ensure a safe donation process.

Donors will receive a small commemorative gift, free testing for seven blood items, and four hours of volunteer credit. For more information, please contact the Pharmaceutical Management Team at Gochang County Public Health Center.

The county is taking the lead in expanding the culture of blood donation and fulfilling social responsibility by holding the Love Blood Donation campaign at least four times a year, once every quarter, to ensure a stable blood supply.
