Over 700 Local SMEs and Public Institutions Participate
Held for Two Days at Daegu EXCO on the 8th and 9th
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 8th that it will jointly hold the '2025 One-Stop Enterprise Support Expo' with Daegu Metropolitan City.
The event, held over two days on the 8th and 9th at Daegu EXCO, is a comprehensive enterprise support expo where local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can engage in purchasing, export, investment, recruitment, and consultation on difficulties all in one place.
A total of about 300 public institutions, large and medium-sized enterprises, overseas buyers, and venture capitalists (VCs) participated in this expo, along with around 400 SMEs, offering various programs such as purchasing and export consultations, investment consultations, and talent recruitment halls.
This year, a legal consultation corner staffed by professional lawyers was established to help local SMEs resolve legal concerns related to technology protection and fair trade. Additionally, a new program was introduced to support export novice companies by producing and providing digital content along with English translations of catalog products necessary for overseas expansion.

To help startups actively attract investment, an investment briefing session was also arranged. More than 30 institutions, including VCs, ACs, and angel investors, will participate to provide one-on-one investment consultations to about 60 startups. In particular, strategic investment attraction consultations for early-stage companies will be conducted in collaboration with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Angel Investment Hub, carefully supporting the growth of new enterprises.
Furthermore, the recruitment halls are segmented into the ‘Daegu Promising Companies Recruitment Hall’ and the ‘Specialized High School & Meister High School Technical Talent Recruitment Hall’ to meet corporate manpower needs. The recruitment talk show ‘Recruitment Open Studio’ will enable real-time communication between HR managers of promising companies and job seekers, increasing recruitment opportunities. In addition, to resolve difficulties faced by SMEs in the Daegu region, nine institutions including the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration will jointly operate enterprise consultation booths on a regular basis. The Daegu Main Customs Office, newly participating, will support export consultations for companies struggling with customs and other issues.
Kim Seong-seop, Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, said, “This expo is a great opportunity for small and venture enterprises to check the support they need at a glance and receive practical help,” adding, “The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will continue to cooperate with local governments so that regional small and venture enterprises can grow as key players in our economy, and will spare no effort in implementing various policy supports for the growth and innovation of small and venture enterprises.”
