Gyeonggi Province will hold the ‘Gyeonggi Library Creative Synergy Contest’ from April 9 to June 30 ahead of the opening of the Gyeonggi Library in October.
On the 8th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will solicit creative content in four categories related to the Gyeonggi Library, which is being developed as a complex cultural space where residents can experience and interact through various senses: ▲signature scent ▲signal music ▲media art video ▲instatoon.
The signature scent represents the fragrance symbolizing the Gyeonggi Library, allowing visitors to feel the identity of the space. Signal music is used for notifications such as library opening and closing alerts. Media art videos are artistic video contents to be displayed inside the library, and instatoons will be used as promotional content on the official SNS of the Gyeonggi Library.
Applications for the contest can be submitted through ‘Voice of Gyeonggi’ (vog.gg.go.kr), and a total prize of 20 million KRW will be awarded to the winners.

Park Min-kyung, Director of the Library Policy Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "The Gyeonggi Library is a space created directly by the residents," adding, "We hope that many people with free-spirited inspiration will show great interest and participate so that the Gyeonggi Library can establish itself as a special cultural space."
