Daegu Catholic University Hosts 'Future Cabin Crew Festival'

Providing Advanced Training Facilities and Practical Experience Programs

The Department of Global Aviation Services at Daegu Catholic University recently held a "Prospective Cabin Crew Festival" for 120 students from Sky Cabin Crew Academy.

This event was hosted by Sky Cabin Crew Academy and organized by Daegu Catholic University, working together to present a vision for the aviation field to students in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions.

The Prospective Cabin Crew Festival was held in the state-of-the-art educational environment of the Department of Global Aviation Services at Daegu Catholic University, featuring the latest aviation training room (life-size model), virtual reality (VR), and the Digital Maker Zone (DMZ).

Participants were able to develop their skills as future cabin crew members through a variety of hands-on programs, including mock interviews, department and library tours, in-flight service training, safety equipment usage, and in-flight entertainment (magic show demonstrations).

Students who wished to enroll in the department received detailed information about the vision, curriculum, and career support plans of the Department of Global Aviation Services.

There was also a session sharing employment cases of the first graduating class, providing practical help for career planning.

A Q&A session followed, allowing participants to resolve questions about department life and job preparation.

Shin Jungmin, head of the Department of Global Aviation Services, said, "We will nurture competitive talent by expanding field experience through various industry-academic collaborations and developing a curriculum that reflects the latest trends in the aviation industry."
