Namdo Jangteo, the representative online shopping mall of Jeollanam-do, has secured 350 million KRW in national funding after being selected for the "2025 Local Product Store Entry Support Project" organized and operated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Small and Medium Business Distribution Center.

The "Local Product Store Entry Support Project" is a national funding initiative to support the entry, sales, and marketing of products from local small business owners through regional government-run shopping malls. Out of nine regional shopping malls nationwide, four?including Namdo Jangteo?were selected.

Through this project, 110 small businesses selling agricultural specialties and experience-based products from Jeollanam-do will be selected, and a dedicated section will be opened. Products will be offered at up to a 40% discount, providing benefits to both Namdo Jangteo customers and small business owners.

In conjunction with this year's "Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo" hosted by Jeollanam-do, the project will also maximize sales by inviting major distribution network MDs for purchasing consultations and supporting live commerce sales, further expanding sales channels for small businesses.

Park Sangmi, Director of Agricultural Food Distribution at Jeollanam-do, stated, "I am very pleased that this project will help local small business owners expand their sales channels and increase revenue," adding, "As the representative online shopping mall of Jeollanam-do, we will continue to support local small business owners and farmers."

Kim Kyungho, CEO of Namdo Jangteo Foundation, said, "I believe Namdo Jangteo will serve as a bridgehead for the growth of local small businesses," and added, "We will do our utmost to revitalize the local economy by supporting small business owners through Namdo Jangteo."

Meanwhile, following its selection for this project, Namdo Jangteo Foundation was also the only regional government-run shopping mall chosen for the "Korea Seafood Grand Festival" in January this year.
