Yoo Seungmin, a former lawmaker running for president from the People Power Party, proposed a 'full-scale national primary' on the 7th.

Yoo continued, "In the midst of this crisis, we must run in and win the presidential election. From now on, every choice the party makes should focus on how to win the presidential election and how to defeat Lee Jaemyung," expressing his demand for a full-scale national primary.

Yoo added, "Only a presidential candidate that the public wants, a 'people's candidate,' can defeat Lee Jaemyung. When the party closed its gates and turned a deaf ear to public sentiment, we suffered a crushing defeat, but when the party opened its gates and jumped into the sea of public sentiment, we achieved victory. In the 2021 by-elections, the winning formula was 100% public sentiment, a 'people's candidate.' Only by winning the center can we win the war," he said.
