Daedong Hospital Presents Abstract at This Year's Korean Society of Lipid and Atherosclerosis Spring Conference

Daedong Hospital (Director Lee Gwangjae) announced that Park Jiyoung, the head of the Food Service Nutrition Team, presented an abstract at the 2025 Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Lipidology and Atherosclerosis, held at the Seoul Dragon City Convention Center on the 5th.


This academic conference was hosted and organized by the Korean Society of Lipidology and Atherosclerosis. Various clinical, basic, and food nutrition sessions related to lipid metabolism and atherosclerosis were prepared, providing an opportunity for experts and young researchers in the field of lipidology and atherosclerosis to present and exchange the latest research findings.


Park Jiyoung's abstract, "Analysis and Improvement Plan for Dietary Habits of Office Workers Based on the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) for Adults," was selected through the review of the academic committee. Based on the 2024 employee health checkup results, which showed that 17.4% were in the high-risk group for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, she presented a study on evaluating employees' dietary habits using the Nutrition Quotient (NQ) for adults, as well as developing customized nutrition education and health promotion programs, in a Mini-Oral Presentation format.

Park Jiyoung stated, "With the increasing prevalence of obesity and metabolic syndrome, the importance of dietary habits is being emphasized, and I am pleased to present the related research results at this academic conference. Based on the results of the employee health checkups, we are conducting various programs to raise nutritional awareness and prevent diseases in cooperation with the Industrial Safety and Health Management Team, and we will continue activities for the long-term health management of our employees."
