Youth Bands to Participate
Special Stage Next to County Office on the 19th
Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do will host the 'Seongjang Jangseong Rock Festival' on a special stage next to the Jangseong County Office at 6 p.m. on the 19th. 'Seongjang Rock Festival' is the first official rock festival planned by Jangseong County, with all performers consisting of rock bands.
According to the county on the 7th, the headliner is the band YB, well known for the song 'Oh Pilseung Korea.' Celebrating their 30th debut anniversary, YB is drawing attention this year with their new release 'Odyssey,' in which they attempt the heavy metal genre. The band KARDI, which placed third in 'Superband 2,' will also perform. They are a four-member team that combines Korean elements with rock sound.
Youth participation is also attracting attention. The Jangseong High School band 'Eagle Eagle' and the youth musical club 'Harang' will share the same stage.
County Governor Kim Hanjong said, "We have prepared this event in hopes that the youth will grow even more," and asked for warm support.
In case of rain, the venue will be moved to the Grand Theater of the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center and the performance will be held for free.
