It was revealed that, following a single word "Help" reported to 119, the fire department, police, and local government worked together to rescue the caller within 10 minutes.

According to the Chungnam Fire Department on the 7th, at around 8:57 p.m. on the 1st, a brief emergency call saying "Help" was received at the department's 119 Integrated Situation Room.

Immediately sensing the urgency, a member of Situation Team 2 tracked the caller's location through a mobile base station and searched CCTV footage, identifying a vehicle in an outdoor parking lot believed to contain the caller, and requested cooperation from the police.

Subsequently, a police officer dispatched to the headquarters requested assistance from a nearby patrol, and within about 10 minutes after the report, they opened the car door and rescued the caller.

At the time of discovery, it was confirmed that the caller had attempted an extreme act and, unable to move, barely managed to call 119.

Fortunately, it was reported that the caller's life is not in danger.

The local government in charge also assisted in the rescue process by adjusting the CCTV, according to reports.

Oh Geunhwan, head of the Integrated Situation Room, said, "If it weren't for the staff's quick judgment and action, and the cooperation of the police and local government, we would not have been able to save a life," adding, "We will continue to strengthen collaboration with all agencies to respond to incidents and accidents."
