Jinan County Successfully Concludes 'Jinan Maisanbae National Baduk Tournament'

450 Baduk Enthusiasts from Across the Country Participate

Jinan County in North Jeolla Province successfully concluded the '5th Jinan Maisan National Baduk Tournament' at the Culture and Sports Center from the 5th to the 6th.

According to the county on the 7th, the tournament was hosted by the Jinan County Sports Council and jointly organized by the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Baduk Association and the Jinan County Baduk Association.

From the 5th to the 6th, Jinan County in Jeonbuk successfully concluded the 5th Jinan Maisan National Baduk Tournament at the Culture and Sports Center.

This tournament brought together 450 Baduk enthusiasts from across the country, who competed in separate divisions for adults and students.

In the two national categories, the Gwangju Metropolitan City A team won in the senior team division, and Hwaseong Special City (women's 5-member team) took first place in the women's 5-member team division. In the Jeonbuk adult division, Kim Kyungo (Gapjo) and Baek Kyungju (Euljo) claimed victory.

In the Jeonbuk student division, Choi Seungbin (Dan-holder division), Kang Hyunseo (senior grade division), Park Yeonwoo (intermediate grade division), Lee Suho (junior grade division), Park Seungwon, Ko Chanyoung, Choi Hoyoung, Jeon Haeun (Dream Tree team division), and Gong Doil (Jinan children’s division) were honored as champions.

The county evaluated that the active participation of young students, along with their parents and families visiting Jinan, contributed to revitalizing the local economy and increasing the living population.
