Suwon City to Host 'Job Fair' at Suwon Convention Center on the 9th... Hiring 300 People

The city of Suwon in Gyeonggi Province will hold the ‘Suwon Job Fair’ at the Suwon Convention Center on the 9th.

Fifty companies will participate in the fair and hire 300 people through one-on-one on-site interviews. Any Suwon citizen looking for a job can participate.

This year, the job fair is prepared as a customized event tailored to different generations and groups. Participating companies will hire 146 youths (30 companies), 31 middle-aged individuals (5 companies), 45 seniors (4 companies), 32 people with disabilities (5 companies), and 46 women (6 companies).

Suwon City will operate 17 employment information booths, including those from Gyeonggi University and Ajou University’s University Job Plus Centers, and will hold side events such as fingerprint aptitude tests, personal color (customized color) diagnosis, and resume ID photo shoots.

First, at 1 PM, a special employment lecture titled “Image Strategies That Make People Remember You!” will be held in meeting rooms 101-102 at the Suwon Convention Center. At 2 PM, a small-scale recruitment briefing with five participating companies will take place at the same location.

A job experience center will also be operated where attendees can try out future promising jobs such as 3D printing makers, drone pilots, rehabilitation exercise therapists, and total care experts for companion animals.

A Suwon City official said, “This job fair will connect suitable employers and job seekers by generation and group,” adding, “We will provide opportunities for job seekers to develop and demonstrate their abilities in finding suitable jobs.”
