Civil petitioners who wish to use the on-site consultation desk can fill out the consultation application form related to permit applications posted on the Gyeonggi Province preliminary consulting audit website (www.gg.go.kr/audit) or the respective city or county website and submit it to the city or county audit department.

Depending on the consultation content, minor issues will have solutions proposed on-site, while matters requiring in-depth review will be addressed after receiving the preliminary consulting audit, including legal advice and consultations with central government ministries to seek solutions.

Last year, Gyeonggi Province operated on-site consultation desks in 19 cities and counties and 7 public institutions, conducting 51 consultations to resolve difficulties faced by officials and residents.

Lee Seon-beom, Head of Audit Division 1 at the Gyeonggi Province Audit Committee, said, "Preliminary consulting audits are a system that provides solutions and directions so that officials who handle tasks passively due to fear of disadvantages can actively perform their duties." He added, "We plan to expand and continuously operate the on-site consultation desks to public institutions as well, supporting not only frontline officials but also public institution employees to handle tasks more actively and promptly."
