Hapcheon County in Gyeongnam held an emergency executive meeting immediately after the Constitutional Court's decision on the presidential impeachment and on the 7th urged all-out efforts to maintain stable administration and ensure public livelihood despite the current political instability.

In particular, he reiterated the need to review response systems to ensure that livelihood-related projects, such as wildfire prevention systems?especially important due to recent large-scale wildfires and dry weather?and government-funded projects in cooperation with central ministries, proceed without disruption.
Additionally, with the presidential election expected on June 3, the county will ensure flawless execution of legally mandated election duties and will proceed with major events within the boundaries of the Public Official Election Act so as to protect residents' daily lives and do their utmost to revitalize the local economy.
Governor Kim stated, "The most important things in these unstable conditions are the stability of residents' lives and trust in administration," and ordered, "Please ensure perfect county administration so that residents can feel secure."
