19 Regional Representative Tourism Festivals Advertised in Real-Time via Tmap

Gyeonggi Province will conduct real-time advertising using the navigation service ‘T MAP’ to ensure the successful hosting of this year’s Gyeonggi Representative Tourism Festivals.

This advertisement utilizes real-time location information of navigation users to provide information about nearby festivals in the form of voice ads. The target of the advertisement is the 19 Gyeonggi Representative Tourism Festivals held this year.

Gyeonggi Province will start advertising two weeks before each festival, broadcasting 15-second voice ads to drivers passing through major routes and destinations.

The first advertised festivals are the Yangpyeong Yongmunsan Wild Vegetable Festival and the Icheon Ceramic Festival, starting from April 25. Gyeonggi Province will begin broadcasting ads from April 11, providing music tracks and festival information tailored to each festival.

For example, the Yangpyeong Yongmunsan Wild Vegetable Festival will broadcast promotional voice ads at four major hubs: Jungbu Inland Expressway (Namyangpyeong IC → Yangpyeong IC direction), Yangyang Expressway (Hwado JC → Seojong IC direction), Jungbu Expressway (Gyeonggi Gwangju IC → Sangok JC direction), and Yeongdong Expressway (Dongsuwon IC → Singal JC direction).

The advertisement phrase is: “T MAP informs you about the 2025 Gyeonggi Representative Tourism Festival, the Yangpyeong Yongmunsan Wild Vegetable Festival. From April 25 for three days, come to the Yongmunsan tourist site to enjoy healthy wild vegetables and diverse programs!”

Gyeonggi Province expects that this real-time advertising will increase festival visitors and help revitalize the local economy.

Jang Hyang-jeong, Director of the Tourism Industry Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, “We have prepared an effective promotional strategy to further strengthen the brand value of the Gyeonggi Representative Tourism Festivals and to encourage more people to participate in local festivals, thereby making a tangible contribution to the local economy and tourism industry. We will continue to enhance the competitiveness of Gyeonggi festivals through various methods in the future.”
