Hampyeong County, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it will establish a communication channel this year where residents and businesses can identify and suggest improvements for unreasonable regulations affecting daily life and business activities.

Hampyeong County will hold the "2025 Hampyeong County Regulatory Reform Idea Contest" to discover and improve unreasonable regulations that hinder residents' daily lives and business or economic activities.

The contest period runs until the 26th of next month, and submissions are divided into three categories: daily life, economy, and others. However, simple civil complaints, suggestions for subsidies, or proposals already adopted by other organizations are excluded from the contest.

Residents, local businesses and organizations, and public officials are all eligible to participate. Entries can be submitted to the Legal Affairs Team of the Planning and Budget Office at Hampyeong County Office by mail, email, or in person.

The submitted ideas will be reviewed according to relevant evaluation criteria, and outstanding proposals will be selected in July. Winners will receive awards of 500,000 KRW for the grand prize (1 person), 300,000 KRW for excellence (2 people), and 100,000 KRW for encouragement (7 people).
