Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, installed a barrier at the entrance of Yeouido Spring Flower Road on the south end of Seogang Bridge at 12 noon on the 6th to block vehicle access and began traffic control.
Yeongdeungpo District will implement traffic control centered around Yeouiseo-ro from 12 noon on the 6th to 10 p.m. on the 13th for the safety of citizens during the spring flower event period.
The fully restricted areas include the Yeouiseo-ro area behind the National Assembly (1.7 km) and from the public parking lot at the south end of Seogang Bridge to Yeoui-haryu IC.
The partially restricted areas are ▲ from Yeoui-haryu IC to the north end of Yeoui 2 Bridge (vehicle restrictions lifted on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 12 noon) ▲ from National Assembly Gate 6 to the National Assembly Riverside Parking Lot (vehicle restrictions lifted on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.) ▲ from Yeoui 2 Bridge to National Assembly Gate 3 (vehicle restrictions lifted on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.).
Mayor Choi Ho-kwon stated, “We are prioritizing the safety of citizens who come to see the spring flowers and preparing the event accordingly,” adding, “We will create a spring flower event that everyone can comfortably enjoy.”
