Financial Supervisory Service to Host Financial Academy to Enhance General Public's Financial Literacy

Free Lectures to Enhance Financial Literacy for University Students and the Public
Program Expanded to Regional Areas for Wider Participation

On the 7th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it will hold the '2025 FSS Financial Academy' to enhance financial literacy among university students and the general public and to cultivate outstanding financial talents.

Since 2011, the FSS has been hosting the 'FSS Financial Academy' to improve financial literacy and nurture financial talents among university students and the general public. The academy offers free specialized lectures on recent financial issues and the overall financial industry by financial experts from regulatory authorities, academia, and industry.

This year's first general course will be held on the 17th at 2 p.m. at the FSS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul. Applications can be submitted starting from 10 a.m. on the 7th through the FSS e-Financial Education Center website.

The FSS explained that it plans to expand the program by increasing the number of annual sessions from seven to eight and holding two sessions in regional areas to provide more educational opportunities for young people outside the capital.
