Chairman Son emphasized, in relation to the Supreme Court's guilty verdict for Mayor Hong on the 3rd and the Constitutional Court's decision to uphold the impeachment on this day, "Efforts are needed to calm division and conflict and to achieve social integration going forward."
He added, "Changwon City Council will make the recovery of the local economy its top priority and will do its utmost for regional development in close cooperation with Changwon City officials."
He also requested, "I ask for stable city administration under the acting authority of First Vice Mayor Jang Geumyong," and urged, "Please ensure that public officials faithfully fulfill their duties and roles so that various public services to citizens are not disrupted."
Additionally, he asked organizations and groups with interests related to Changwon City to continue their unwavering interest and cooperation with the city.
