Strengthening Support Programs
in Response to Low Birth Rates
Uiryeong County in Gyeongnam Province announced that it has been operating an online service since the 1st of this month, which integrates key population policies such as marriage, childcare, and housing.
This service was established to strengthen support for population policies, including responses to low birth rates, and to allow users to access related information in one place. It is designed so that beneficiaries can easily access integrated support information for each stage of life, from marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, to housing.
The website provides a one-stop service that clearly guides users through 112 projects in 12 fields, allowing them to easily search and apply for the programs.
Users can simply enter their date of birth to view customized support benefits and the programs available for application today. The county has systematically consolidated key public services, and for some support programs, application links are also provided to enhance user convenience.
County Governor Oh Taewan stated, "I hope this integrated service will be of practical help to residents and those interested in Uiryeong," adding, "We will continue our efforts to ensure that various policies for increasing the population of Uiryeong County are effective."
