DL Chemical Employee Volunteer Group 'Hansup Volunteer Corps', Increasing Contributions to Local Community

DL Chemical is contributing to the local community by operating a voluntary employee volunteer organization.

DL Chemical announced on the 4th that it will carry out office facility repair volunteer activities at the Jeonnam Yeosu Women's Human Rights Support Center on the 5th. The Hansup Volunteer Group consists of a total of 150 employees from DL Chemical's Yeosu plant. Among them, some members who can participate in the volunteer activities at the Women's Human Rights Support Center will undertake repairs and maintenance of facilities including restrooms, offices, and dormitories.

Starting in 2004, the Hansup Volunteer Group's facility repair volunteer activities, now in their 84th session, have been conducted regularly four times a year. They serve local residents facing difficulties due to aging facilities, such as elderly living alone and child-headed households. Their main focus is on improving household facilities exposed to safety hazards like leaks.

DL Chemical's Hansup Volunteer Group provides assistance based on DL Chemical's "Hansup Spirit," which aims to "create a pleasant and abundant life." To this end, the Hansup Volunteer Group operates four volunteer organizations including facility repair, love sharing, donation and scholarship support, and Hanulhoe.

A DL Chemical official stated, "We will continue to promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management through various social contribution activities."
