Sookmyung Women's University Partners with Jongno-gu to Establish Regional Win-Win Model

Sookmyung Women's University has partnered with the Jongno District Office in Seoul to establish a local cooperation system.

On the 3rd, Sookmyung Women's University announced on the 5th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jongno District to promote the 'Seoul RISE Project.' The RISE Project is a business model in which local governments develop development strategies and university support plans to support the mutual growth of the region and universities.


Sookmyung Women's University plans to share its educational and research capabilities with Jongno District to promote projects such as the advancement of lifelong education. Through this, it intends to expand its local network. Previously, Sookmyung Women's University also signed an MOU with Yongsan District.


Moon Si-yeon, president of Sookmyung Women's University, said, "We will successfully operate the RISE Project through this MOU and contribute to the development of the local community."
