Busan Bumin Hospital will hold a public health class on the topic "Various Types and Symptoms of Gastrointestinal Diseases, Learn and Prevent Them!" for Busan citizens in April. The event will take place on the 10th in the hospital's main auditorium.
Gastrointestinal diseases can be caused by habits such as eating too quickly, overeating and binge eating, irregular eating patterns, consuming excessively spicy and salty foods, drinking alcohol, smoking, stress, and Helicobacter pylori infection.
In this health class, Song Cheolsoo, honorary director of the Department of Gastroenterology, will serve as the lecturer. The session is aimed at middle-aged and elderly individuals seeking to prevent digestive and gastrointestinal diseases. He will explain practical information and treatment methods that can be applied in daily life, including the importance of endoscopic examinations and the prevention and management of gastrointestinal diseases.
Choi Changhwa, director of Busan Bumin Hospital, said, "We will do our best to promote the health of local residents through health classes held every month on various topics."
