"Hope for Reasonable Medical Policies
Through Dialogue Between Government and Medical Community"
The National Council of Medical School Professors (Uidae Gyosuhyeop) welcomed the dismissal of President Yoon Seok-yeol and urged the current government to completely rectify its medical policies.

On the 4th, Uidae Gyosuhyeop stated in a press release, "We express our deep gratitude to the citizens, the National Assembly, and the Constitutional Court who contributed to maintaining constitutional order."
They added, "The Yoon Seok-yeol administration's medical school expansion and medical policies, which were forcibly implemented ignoring constitutional values, must be immediately abolished," emphasizing, "The government should stop oppressing medical students and residents, and seek solutions through mutual trust and dialogue to normalize medical education and restore the healthcare system."
They continued, "The government should halt the unilateral enforcement of medical policies disguised as 'medical reform' and promote reasonable medical policies through dialogue with the medical community."
Earlier, the Constitutional Court dismissed President Yoon Seok-yeol on the morning of the same day. He became the second president in constitutional history to be removed by impeachment. The Constitutional Court held the impeachment ruling session at the Constitutional Court Grand Chamber in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and unanimously declared, "We dismiss the respondent, President Yoon Seok-yeol."
