Applications accepted until the 21st
Up to 50 million KRW support per company
Jangsu County in North Jeolla Province is accepting applications for the 'Local Industry Promotion Project' until the 21st to enhance the competitiveness of local businesses.
According to the county on the 4th, the 'Local Industry Promotion Project' aims to strengthen the competitiveness of businesses in regions facing population decline as a measure to counteract local extinction.
The county will support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and startups related to regional strategic industries such as Red Food and Smart Agriculture, provided that at least one of their headquarters, factories, or research institutes is located in the area.
Additionally, the county will provide up to 50 million KRW per company for programs such as management and technology consulting for startups, consulting for innovative agricultural technology challenges, product advancement, marketing, testing and certification, intellectual property acquisition, and process improvement for innovative agricultural technologies.
On the 10th at 10 a.m., the county plans to operate a business introduction session, application guidance, Q&A, and on-site consultation booth for local startups and agricultural industry-related companies at the Jangsu County Return-to-Farming and Rural Settlement Support Center.
