"Unjust Ruling by Constitutional Court...
Civil Disobedience Movement to Be Launched"
The Constitutional Court, unanimously ruling to dismiss former President Yoon Seok-yeol, faced criticism from the Liberty Unification Party, led by Pastor Jeon Gwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church, who called it a "very regrettable and unfortunate decision that leaves a deep scar in constitutional history" and announced plans to launch a civil disobedience movement.

On the 4th, the Liberty Unification Party stated in a press release, "This impeachment acceptance is an unjust decision made through political offensives and biased media-driven public opinion manipulation, and therefore cannot be accepted."
They continued, "We will not cease our struggle to protect the Republic of Korea’s liberal democracy and the rule of law," adding, "From this moment on, we will carry out a civil disobedience movement against the Constitutional Court’s unjust ruling to achieve stronger solidarity and national unity."
The Presidential National Defense Lawyers, a group supporting former President Yoon, also announced through a media statement that day, "We will not be discouraged by today’s ruling and will continue the fight for a second founding of the nation together with the people."
On the same day, the Constitutional Court dismissed former President Yoon. Acting Chief Justice Moon Hyung-bae read the impeachment ruling at around 11:22 a.m., stating, "President Yoon Seok-yeol is dismissed."
The Constitutional Court said, "The respondent (former President Yoon) mobilized military and police forces to damage constitutional institutions such as the National Assembly and violated the fundamental rights of the people, thereby neglecting the duty to uphold the Constitution," adding, "The constitutional protection benefits gained by dismissing the respondent overwhelmingly outweigh the national losses caused by the dismissal."
