April 7 to 18: Call for Project Implementing Organizations
Six Organizations Supporting the Knowledge and Information Underprivileged to Be Selected
Ulsan Library will be accepting applications for organizations to operate the "2025 Outreach Program for the Knowledge and Information Underprivileged" from June to November.
The "Outreach Program" is a customized reading culture program in collaboration with local institutions, designed to bridge the information gap for the knowledge and information underprivileged.
Eligible applicants are organizations that support the knowledge and information underprivileged, such as people with disabilities, the elderly, and multicultural families who have difficulty visiting the library in person. A total of six organizations will be selected.
The selected organizations will receive support for recruiting instructors and paying instructor fees to operate the reading culture programs.
Organizations wishing to participate can apply by visiting Ulsan Library or by email from April 7 to 18.
The final selected organizations will be notified individually and announced on the Ulsan Library website on May 13.
For further inquiries, please refer to the announcements on the Ulsan Library website or contact the Ulsan Library Collection Policy Division.
An official from Ulsan Library said, "We hope that this application process will help establish the image of the library as a familiar place for the knowledge and information underprivileged and serve as a stepping stone to provide equal opportunities for reading culture."
