On March 25, more than 30 staff members from Yeongyang County Office and NongHyup visited the most severely affected area of Hwamae-ri, Sogbo-myeon, to assist with recovery efforts, including removing plastic coverings and helping restore normal farming operations.

Currently, damage has been reported across all sectors of agriculture and livestock, including 85 hectares of crops, 970 pieces of agricultural machinery, and various agricultural facilities and livestock barns.

Hwang (male, 66), a resident who received volunteer support, said, "I was at a loss after suffering damage just before the start of the farming season, but thanks to this volunteer help, I have hope to farm again. I am deeply grateful to everyone who rolled up their sleeves to help restore the damaged crops."

The head of the Yeongyang County branch of NongHyup stated, "We will continue to take the lead in providing volunteer workforce support to disaster-affected farms."

County Governor Oh Dochang said, "I am truly grateful to all the NongHyup staff and everyone involved who willingly participated in the recovery efforts. The county administration will provide maximum support for agricultural recovery and continue to promote volunteer workforce initiatives to ensure stable farming operations."
