Seodaemun-gu, Spring Light Festival Program Reduced from 4th to 6th

Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 4th that it has scaled down and changed the schedule of the "Seodaemun Spring Light Festival 2025 - Making Dreams Come True with Seodaemun Spring Light," which was originally scheduled to be held from the 4th to the 6th of this month in Ansan (鞍山) and the Hongjecheon area.

The "Seodaemun Orchestra Spring Light Concert," originally scheduled for 2 PM on the 5th, has been canceled, and "Spring Meeting through Art Songs," which was to be held at 11 AM on the 5th, has been rescheduled to 5:30 PM on the following day, the 6th.

The "Seodaemun Cherry Blossom Festival" at 2 PM and "Dongchun Circus" at 5 PM on the 4th, as well as the "Family Musical Banjjokijeon" at 11 AM and the "Seodaemun Spring Light Singing Contest" at 3 PM on the 6th, will proceed as planned.

The "Experience Booths" will operate normally from 10 AM to 6 PM on the 5th and 6th along the Hongjecheon walking trail, and the "Hongje Waterfall Meong Challenge" will be reduced from two sessions on the 5th to one session at 1 PM on the 6th.

Seodaemun-gu explained that it took into account the large-scale forest fire damage in the Gyeongbuk region and the rain forecast from the Korea Meteorological Administration in various ways. Meanwhile, the district will also operate a donation booth for the forest fire-affected areas during the event.
