The Ministry of National Defense has decided to conduct all unit activities, except for ongoing operations, within the base for one day each year on the 4th.
Jeon Ha-gyu, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, stated at the regular briefing that the previous day, a unit operation guideline containing this directive was issued to subordinate units.
Accordingly, on this day, no off-base unit activities will be conducted except for operations. However, in unavoidable cases, adjustments may be made and implemented under the judgment of general-level commanders.
Spokesperson Jeon said, "Various unnecessary contacts may occur during off-base activities," and added, "(To prevent this) unit activities are to be adjusted and switched to on-base activities."
