Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 4th that it conducted an 'Integrity Special Lecture' for executives and senior officials.
The 'Integrity Special Lecture for Senior and Executive Employees,' held from the 2nd to the 3rd of this month, was attended by executives and managerial staff. Notably, SH Corporation President Hwang Sang-ha gave a lecture himself on the topic of the 'Public Officials Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.' Jeong Hee-jeong, a specialist lecturer from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission's Integrity Training Institute, analyzed the results of the CBTI (Clean Balance Type Index), a self-diagnostic tool for integrity, through a case-based integrity sensitivity special lecture, introducing case examples by type and practical measures for integrity.
In June 2022, SH Corporation established its own 'Conflict of Interest Prevention System Operation Regulations' in accordance with the Public Officials Conflict of Interest Prevention Act, laying an institutional foundation to improve corruption-prone areas and establish a culture of integrity.
This year, SH Corporation is focusing on key tasks such as ▲ strengthening integrity leadership among senior officials ▲ expanding communication to improve areas vulnerable to integrity issues, aiming to achieve a comprehensive integrity rating of grade 1.
President Hwang said, "To create an honest organizational culture, it is important for senior officials to improve and practice against unreasonable customs," adding, "Taking this special lecture as an opportunity, all employees will work together to leap forward as an excellent integrity institution that meets citizens' expectations."
