Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Institute of Technology Startup Investment will host the 'Asia Startup Expo (FLY ASIA 2025)' at BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1 from September 22 to 23. Now in its fourth year, this event is Asia's largest startup expo under the slogan 'Connect Asia, Fly to the World.'
This year's event will feature more than 50 programs related to investment and startups, including the opening ceremony, investment round, meet-up, investment conference, global session, B-Startup Challenge (Awards), open innovation, and conference.
The B-Startup Challenge, co-hosted by BNK Busan Bank, Busan MBC, and FLY ASIA, plans to support the growth of promising startups with a total investment of 300 million KRW.
Notably, from this year, a private sector expert has been appointed as the chair of the organizing committee, restructuring the operational system to focus on public-private cooperation and introducing highly effective programs that reflect real market demands.
Additionally, the newly launched Busan Institute of Technology Startup Investment will take the lead in creating a startup festival where citizens nationwide and domestic and international startups can actively participate.

He added, "The Busan Institute of Technology Startup Investment will continue various efforts to actively support the growth of technology startups and make Busan the leading startup city in Asia."
