"President Yoon Likely Spent Days of Self-Reproach at the Presidential Residence"
Park Beom-gye, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated, "The power of the Constitutional Court's ruling will be tremendous," and added, "Around 11 o'clock, we will welcome a different Republic of Korea." The Constitutional Court will deliver its ruling on President Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment trial at 11 a.m. on the 4th.
On the same day, on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show,' Park predicted, "The ruling by the Constitutional Court, the highest constitutional guardian, will have a destructive power that affects the speed of criminal trials and the possibility of re-arrest." Since the National Assembly excluded the charge of rebellion from the impeachment motion against President Yoon, the charge of rebellion is expected to be dealt with more fully in future criminal trials. However, it is interpreted that the ruling by the Constitutional Court on this day will also affect criminal trials related to the charge of rebellion.

He also claimed that President Yoon is likely anticipating his own removal from office. Park said, "Former President Park Geun-hye did not appear in court from the beginning, so it was natural that she did not appear on the day of the ruling. However, President Yoon attended almost all the hearings and is not in custody, yet he is said not to appear on the day of the ruling. Circumstantially, isn't he sensing his removal himself?"
He continued, "President Yoon has recently maintained silence and is probably spending nights of self-reproach at the presidential residence," adding, "Considering the unprepared defense by the respondent's lawyers and amateurism, if he had focused more on the defense and reflected sincerely, the ruling for removal might not have been reached. This is a self-reproach."
Regarding whether President Yoon will accept the removal ruling, Park predicted, "There will be no immediate message of acceptance," and added, "He seems likely to send a message to those who support him like concrete." When asked by the host if this means "President Yoon might excite his supporters," he replied, "It could happen depending on the situation," and said, "Although he has maintained silence after being released, overall, it has been a continuous series of denial, agitation, and protest. That is how it has been."
