Namyang Dairy Products announced on the 4th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the international relief and development NGO World Vision on the 3rd to promote the 'Fill Care' integrated support project for young family caregivers.

'Fill Care' is a program that provides integrated support across three areas?livelihood, medical care and caregiving, and future preparation?for young family caregivers. Through this agreement, Namyang Dairy Products plans to offer comprehensive support to the target youth, including financial assistance for living expenses, medical costs, and education fees, as well as a foundation for independence through job experience and employment linkage. 'Young family caregivers' refers to adolescents and young adults who care for family members in need due to illness or disability. They often provide an average of 22 hours of care per week and are responsible for livelihood and household chores, resulting in significant psychological and economic burdens.

To support these young family caregivers who are in welfare blind spots, Namyang Dairy Products signed an MOU with the Ministry of Health and Welfare in September last year and has been operating self-reliance support activities focused on product sponsorship and job experience. Starting this year, the number of beneficiaries has been expanded from 150 to 250, and the scope of practical support has been broadened.

Namyang Dairy Products plans to select 10 young family caregivers and provide a total sponsorship fund of 30 million KRW, with 3 million KRW per person. The support will be provided in a customized manner, allowing recipients to choose the necessary areas among livelihood (living expenses and housing costs), medical care and caregiving (medical and nursing care expenses), and future preparation (education fees, psychological counseling, and self-development) according to their actual circumstances.

A Namyang Dairy Products official said, "Through this MOU, we aim to reduce the caregiving burden on young family caregivers and establish a practical foundation for their economic independence. We will continue to share the weight of young family caregivers with partner organizations and carry out various support activities so that they can plan their futures in good health."
